3. What is the difference between OEM, ODM, and private label watches?
OEM watch manufacturing is suitable for customers who already have their own drawings, technical specifications, or reference samples. We manufacture the watches according to the approved design.
ODM watch manufacturing includes design and product-development support from our team. We can help transform an initial idea into a production-ready watch.
Private label watches are based on existing models that can be customized with your logo, dial colors, straps, case finishes, case-back engraving, and branded packaging. This is usually the fastest and most cost-effective way to start a watch brand.
4. What is your minimum order quantity for custom watches?
Fully customized OEM watches requiring new cases, dials, hands, molds, or special materials normally have an MOQ of 500pcs per design. For startups or clients with specific needs, we can consider reducing the MOQ to 300pcs.
Different colors can be mixed in the same order. The requirements: 100 pieces of dial each color, and 100 pieces of PVD plating each color.
5. Can I order watch samples before mass production?
Yes. We recommend approving a physical watch sample before beginning bulk production. A prototype allows you to evaluate the case dimensions, dial details, colors, materials, movement performance, strap quality, logo position, and overall wearing experience.
Sample charges depend on the watch design, components, tooling requirements, and quantity. If you proceed with a qualifying bulk order, part or all of the sample fee may be credited toward the production order according to the agreed terms.
6. How long does custom watch production take?
The lead time depends on the complexity of the project and the availability of movements and components. A customized sample generally takes approximately 40 working days. Mass production normally takes around 45-60 working days after the sample is approved and the deposit is received.
New molds, unusual materials, Swiss movements, complex mechanical functions, special surface treatments, and custom packaging may require additional time. A project schedule will be provided before production begins.
7. Which parts of a watch can be customized?
Almost every visible part of a watch can be customized, including the case, dial, hands, indexes, crown, bezel, crystal, case back, movement rotor, strap, bracelet, buckle/clasp, and packaging.
Your brand logo can be printed, engraved, embossed, applied, or laser-marked on the dial, crown, case back, clasp, strap, rotor, watch box, instruction manual, and warranty card. Our engineers will recommend the most suitable manufacturing process for your design and budget.
8. What watch movements can I choose?
We offer quartz, automatic mechanical, hand-winding mechanical, chronograph, solar-powered, and selected multifunction movement solutions. Available options may include Japanese movements from Miyota and Seiko/TMI, Swiss movements from Ronda and Sellita, and reliable Chinese movements from established suppliers.
Movement selection depends on the target retail price, watch thickness, functions, accuracy requirements, power reserve, market positioning, and expected production quantity.
9. What materials are available for custom watch cases, crystals, and straps?
Custom watch cases can be manufactured from 316L stainless steel, titanium, brass, alloy, bronze, ceramic, carbon fiber, wood, or other specialized materials, depending on the project.
Crystal options include sapphire crystal, mineral glass, hardened mineral glass, and acrylic. Strap and bracelet choices include genuine leather, vegan leather, silicone, FKM rubber, nylon, stainless steel mesh, 316L solid stainless steel bracelets, titanium, damascus steel, and other custom materials.
Surface-finishing options may include polishing, brushing, sandblasting, PVD coating, IP plating, and custom color treatments.
10. Can you help me design and develop my own watch brand?
Yes. Our OEM and ODM watch development service can support customers from the initial concept through mass production. You may provide a sketch, reference image, CAD drawing, technical package, or physical sample. If you do not have a finished design, our team can assist with product styling, component selection, logo placement, color matching, 2D or 3D drawings, and prototype development.
We work with established brands as well as entrepreneurs launching their first private label watch collection.
11. How do you control the quality of bulk watch orders?
Quality control is carried out throughout the custom watch manufacturing process rather than only before shipment. Components are inspected before assembly, and finished watches are checked for appearance, dimensions, movement operation, timekeeping, crown and button functions, strap or bracelet security, and packaging accuracy.
Depending on the product specification, testing may also include water-resistance testing, pressure testing, battery testing, drop testing, coating checks, salt-spray testing, and strap-strength testing. Customers may also arrange an independent third-party inspection before shipment.
12. Can your watches meet international compliance requirements?
We can develop watches and packaging according to the compliance requirements of the destination market. Depending on the product, materials, movement, battery, packaging, and importing country, testing or documentation may be arranged for standards such as RoHS, REACH, CE, nickel release, and other applicable requirements.
Please inform us of your sales markets at the beginning of the project so that suitable materials and testing requirements can be considered during development.
13. What water-resistance levels are available?
We can manufacture custom watches with different water-resistance ratings, including 3ATM, 5ATM, 10ATM, 20ATM and 50ATM, subject to the watch structure and approved specifications.
A 3ATM watch is intended mainly for everyday splash resistance. A 5ATM watch provides stronger protection for daily use, while 10ATM may be suitable for swimming when properly designed and tested. Watches intended for diving require specialized construction, testing, and clearly defined performance standards. The final water-resistance rating must be confirmed through testing rather than appearance alone.
14. Can you protect our watch designs and intellectual property?
Yes. We understand that original designs, technical drawings, brand information, and product launch plans are commercially sensitive. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before reviewing confidential project materials.
Customer-owned drawings, samples, specifications, molds, and branding assets will be used only for the agreed project and handled according to the confidentiality terms established between both parties.
15. Do you provide custom watch boxes and branded packaging?
Yes. We offer custom watch packaging solutions such as paper boxes, gift boxes, wooden boxes, travel cases, sleeves, inserts, hang tags, instruction manuals, warranty cards, barcode labels, and shipping cartons. Fully bespoke packaging is also available.
16. How can I get a quote for bulk custom watches?
To receive an accurate custom watch quotation, please send us the following information:
- Watch type, style, or reference images
- Quartz or mechanical movement preference
- Case material and approximate dimensions
- Crystal and strap requirements
- Water-resistance rating
- Logo and packaging requirements
- Estimated order quantity

- Destination country
- Required delivery date
Once we understand your project, our watch manufacturing team will review its feasibility and provide recommendations, estimated MOQ, sample cost, unit price, tooling requirements, and production lead time.
16. Could you please explain the warranty period and policy?
We provide a one-year warranty from the date of delivery for manufacturing defects and quality-related problems that occur under normal use. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, impact, unauthorized repairs, water damage caused by improper use, scratches, or normal wear and tear.
If a quality issue occurs during the warranty period, please contact us with photos, videos, and the relevant order information so our technical team can assess the problem and provide a suitable solution.
Watches can still be returned to our factory for inspection and repair after the warranty period. However, the customer is responsible for the round-trip shipping costs, as well as any applicable replacement parts and repair charges. We will provide a repair quotation for approval before beginning any chargeable work.
